"Wait a minute!" I hear you thinking, "This is not traveling, this sounds more like a holiday!" And you're right, it has been 2 weeks of not doing much, apart from totally chilling out. Which is great for many reasons, but also because my blog is now up to date due to lack of interesting stories to tell
It was a great 2 weeks though. The guesthouse "Done Right" has 3 rooms and is run by 2 Swedes, Toby and Sammy. It's on Otres beach, which is still quite untouched by Lonelyplanet travelers, and about a 15 minute moto ride (for 2 dollars) over dusty, cracked and potholed roads. The distance from the town centre kind of makes it feel more special and secluded. I met up with my Transsiberia friends there to celebrate X-mas and NY's. It was great to meet up, and the laid-back attitude of our hosts made it feel like a home away from home.
Oh, and by the way, HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!!
